LEARN HOW TO REACH THE RIGHT BEACH
Makarska and the surrounding area are famous for great beaches with some of them resembling small wonders of nature. While most of the best beaches are well known, there are still a few spots that are hidden treasures.
These places are located of the beaten path and need some effort to be experienced. Be prepared for a (literally) rocky walk by the sea and through some bushes. Along the way be sure to have your camera ready because the scenes of the sea, sun, stones and forest blending together tend to leave the viewer in awe. The trail and the beach itself are inspiring for both amateur and professional photographers. And we haven't even mentioned the sunsets yet.
The rough approach to the beach is totally worth the effort. The shiny white pebbles, crystal clear sea and the giant, thick shadows provided by the pine trees will make you want to stay for more than the duration of your vacation. It is a place to sit down and not worry about a single thing in the world, wishing that the summer lasted forever. Simply said, life is better at the beach.
